A brief history...

M2A2 Bradley

Introduced in 1988, the A2 received an improved 600 horsepower engine,  transmission and improved armour . The new armour could protect the Bradley against 30 mm rounds and RPGs. The armour also eliminated the trim vane that made the Bradley amphibious and covered up the side firing ports. The Bradley could carry six soldiers into battle and was manned by a commander, a gunner and a driver.

This kit is the Tamiya 1/35 scale model kit #264. It was a fast build and contained nice crisp detail. It came with 2 crew figures however they were not used in this build. The model was built from the box and was finished using Vallejo acrylics and weathered with a mix of oils and enamals. The M2A2 is a fiersome fighting machine and a joy to build and display.
