Tamiya 1/48 Panzer III Ausf. N Build | WWII German Tank

The Panzer III Ausf. N represented the final development of Germany’s Panzer III series, repurposed as a close support vehicle during the later stages of the Second World War. Equipped with the short-barrelled 75mm KwK 37 gun, it was designed to provide high-explosive fire support to infantry and armoured units, particularly as the Panzer III became outclassed in anti-tank roles.

This build uses the Tamiya 1/48 Panzer III Ausf. N kit, a compact and well-engineered model that captures the proportions and character of the vehicle. The focus is on clean assembly and subtle weathering to bring depth and interest to this late-war German tank.

I used this build to test a theory…that you didn’t have to spend a fortune on an airbrush to produce a satisfactory result! I think it came out OK don’t you ?

‘In terms of a kit, you don’t get much better than these 48th scale offerings from Tamiya. The build experience is suitable for the beginner right up to the advanced modeller. I can;t recommend them highly enough!’
